Topock Gorge

This is another favorite for many as the views are breathtaking as we leave Thompson Bay heading around the Island and up the river delta to venture onto the Colorado river. We then pass by other enthusiastic boaters also heading north past one of the most iconic spots on the river, the sand bar, here you are bound to see tons of boaters enjoying the cool water temperatures waiting and watching for the performance boats like ours to pass by at speed. We continue past up river until we are greeted by the beautiful Topock gorge which is known by many as a miniature grand canyon with stunning views and wildlife spotted often. From there we take the return trip back down the river enjoying a new viewpoint on the surroundings we just passed. This trip takes on average 45-60 minutes based on weather and traffic.
